Backend Developer 2-3 Years Hybrid

We're seeking a skilled and driven backend Developer to contribute to our innovative products and projects. Role Highlights: Join a skilled and experienced team working on modern backend systems. We’re looking for developers with 2–3 years of general backend experience, strong engineering skills, and a desire to learn and transition to Golang through our structured onboarding. This hybrid role offers full flexibility, allowing you to work both in office in Belgrade, Serbia, and remotely. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain high-quality applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet customer needs. - Communicate effectively with team members to maintain project awareness and identify areas for improvement. - Implement best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance. - Contribute to the design and architecture of backend systems, leveraging your expertise in distributed, large-scale systems. Requirements: - 3+ years of professional backend development experience in Java, Node.js or C++ - Hands-on experience building high-throughput, low-latency, distributed backend systems. - Proficiency in Micro-service communication patterns/protocols and their trade-offs. - Practical experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures. - Strong understanding of general database concepts, including indexing, concurrency control, and partitioning. - Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/DynamoDB). Some Nice to Haves, But Not a Must: - Experience in industries such as Fintech, Trading, Casino/iGaming, or CRM. - Previous experience in Golang - Familiarity with EKS and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code). - Familiarity with OLAP databases like Clickhouse.
