Flutter Developer Remote

An American software development company headquartered in Chicago, specializing in delivering high-quality enterprise and consumer digital products, is seeking a Flutter Developer to join its growing mobile engineering team. The client is a well-known global leader in the healthcare, wellness and insurance space. We have worked with this global client for more than 10 years and delivered solutions across the globe, including North America, Europe, and Africa. We're involved in a variety of projects for this client. Insurance and wellness platform & mobile app designed to give members easy access to their healthcare, insurance, and wellness information Key Responsibilities: Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and reliability. Implement complex UI designs and animations while adhering to responsive and adaptive design principles. Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring robust data handling and error management. Apply modern state management patterns and libraries (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Redux, Riverpod) for scalable app architecture. Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features. Participate in code reviews, ensure best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement automated testing, and optimize the release process. Monitor app performance, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve quality and user experience. Ensure compliance with App Store and Google Play submission guidelines and manage release cycles. Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Dart programming language and deep understanding of Flutter framework. Strong grasp of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and responsive UI development. Extensive experience working with RESTful APIs and external integrations. Hands-on experience with state management solutions (Provider, Bloc, Redux, etc.). Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests, reviews). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Solid problem-solving and debugging skills, with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed, agile team environment. Knowledge of the mobile app store submission process and best practices for app deployment.
