#vacancy #job #cyprus #limassol #office #fintech #payments #qa #automation #manual Company: paytech Location: Limassol Format: Full-time, office / hybrid Position: QA Middle+ About the Role: As a QA on the Financial Team, you will play a critical role by directly influencing product quality through early testing, enhancing processes, and ensuring the reliability of mission-critical financial flows such as balances, payouts, settlements, and integrations with payment providers. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to prevent financial risks, improve test coverage, and build a robust automation foundation for a fast-developing fintech platform. Key Responsibilities: ✔️ Participate in all stages of the SDLC: from requirements analysis and design review to release verification and production monitoring; ✔️ Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing of financial flows; ✔️ Validate financial logic: balances, fees, commissions, settlements, payouts, refunds, reversals; ✔️ Validate database data: balances, ledgers, transactions, reconciliation; ✔️ Create and maintain BE/FE automated regression tests; ✔️ Maintain test documentation: test cases, checklists, regression packs, test reports; ✔️ Participate in release activities: pre-release validation, post-deploy smoke checks; ✔️ Investigate production incidents and participate in root cause analysis (RCA); ✔️ Improve QA processes, test coverage, and quality gates. Requirements: Must Have: ✔️ 4+ years of QA experience (manual); ✔️ Commercial experience in test automation (preferably in Java); ✔️ UI, API (REST/JSON), SQL, and financial systems testing (payments, banking, PSP, fintech, accounting); ✔️ Understanding of client-server architecture and microservices; ✔️ Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and version control (Git); ✔️ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ✔️ Attention to detail and data accuracy; ✔️ English sufficient for technical communication. Nice to Have: ✔️ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins); ✔️ Experience with Docker / Kubernetes; ✔️ Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Kibana, Datadog); ✔️ Experience with Allure, ReportPortal, or similar reporting tools; ✔️ Experience with performance testing (k6, JMeter, Gatling); ✔️ Experience with Oracle / PL/SQL.
