Key Responsibilities • Design, operate, and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure with a focus on Amazon EKS. • Configure and maintain Karpenter for cost-efficient autoscaling and resource optimization. • Deploy and operate KEDA for event-driven autoscaling workloads. • Build and maintain Grafana dashboards and alerts for platform monitoring and performance insights. • Develop and extend CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, automation frameworks, and Git-based workflows. • Deploy and support workflow/orchestration tools, including Flyte, AWS Lambda, and Apache Airflow. • Develop Python-based automation tools, scripts, and integrations. • Contribute to workflow architecture, designing pipeline structure, task interactions, and system integration patterns. • Manage AWS services including S3, EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and related components. • Troubleshoot Kubernetes, EKS, networking, autoscaling, and deployment issues across distributed systems. • Apply best practices for automation, observability, reliability, cost management, and cloud security. • Collaborate with platform, data, application, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and scalable services. Required Skills and Experience • Production Kubernetes experience. • Deep operational experience with Amazon EKS. • Strong proficiency with Grafana for dashboards, monitoring, and alerting. • Expertise with Karpenter autoscaling. • Experience with KEDA or similar event-driven autoscaling tools. • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Flyte, AWS Lambda, or Airflow. • Experience contributing to or designing workflow architectures or distributed pipeline systems. • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectural patterns. • Proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation. • Strong Python skills for automation, tooling, and system integration. • Strong understanding of Git-based version control workflows. • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Nice to Have • Experience with Loki for log aggregation. • Experience with Fluent Bit for log ingestion and forwarding. • Experience with Argo CD for GitOps-based Kubernetes deployments. • Experience with AWS Step Functions. • Experience with Amazon SNS for notifications and event-driven workflows. • Terraform experience for infrastructure provisioning. • Background in platform engineering, SRE, or distributed system operations. • Experience with automated testing, release pipelines, or build automation.
