Senior Developer PHP Yii Remote

Vacancy: Senior Developer (PHP / Yii), remote About the Company: A Legal Tech company specializing in the automation of parking case processing and debt collection management. Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Developer to work with an established platform, enhance its performance and reliability, and contribute to its ongoing evolution. This role requires not only hands-on development but also architectural thinking and long-term technical vision. Responsibilities: • Maintain and improve the existing PHP/Yii codebase, ensuring continuity and system stability • Refactor and gradually modernize existing components • Actively contribute to defining and shaping system architecture, not just implementing predefined solutions • Participate in and lead architectural discussions, proposing sustainable long-term approaches • Propose architectural improvements and new technologies for implementation • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and team members on technical and product decisions • Ensure high code quality, reliability, and overall system stability Tech Stack / Environment • Current stack: PHP, Yii • Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL • Focus on long-term maintainability, scalability, and code quality Requirements • Experience 3–6 years of professional software development experience • Strong hands-on experience with Yii framework (mandatory) • Solid experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL Technical Skills • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs • Front-end experience (Vue.js) is a plus Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proactive mindset with architectural thinking Portfolio • All applicants will be asked to provide examples of previous work to demonstrate their experience • English - good technical English, confident in written communication and handling technical tasks in English To apply: @AnnaRecruiter
