🚀 Backend Engineer (Python + Web3 / EVM) | Remote 🚀 We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with strong Python experience and hands-on Web3 integrations to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building reliable backend services that interact with EVM-based blockchains in production environments and is comfortable working with blockchain data, transactions, and trading-related systems. This role is focused on backend integrations with blockchain (primarily via Python and web3.py), not pure smart contract or protocol development. ✔️ Salary: Competitive, based on experience ✔️ Format: Full-time, Remote ✔️ About the Role: You will work on backend services that integrate with EVM ecosystems (Ethereum and Layer 2 networks) and trading infrastructure. The role focuses on Python-based backend development, blockchain interaction via web3.py, and integration with the Hyperliquid perpetual trading platform. This position is well-suited for a strong mid-level to senior, hands-on backend engineer who enjoys building and maintaining real production systems rather than focusing on architecture or team leadership. ✔️ Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain Python backend services that interact with EVM blockchains (Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, and other L2s) • Integrate backend systems with the Hyperliquid perpetual trading platform • Work with blockchain interaction layers: RPC calls, event listeners, transaction creation and submission • Develop backend logic for trading automation and on-chain execution • Ensure reliability, performance, and security of blockchain-facing services • Monitor, debug, and improve production blockchain integrations • Collaborate with the team on improving execution flow and system stability ✔️ Key Qualifications: • Strong experience with Python and web3.py (must-have) • Hands-on experience interacting with EVM-based blockchains (Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, etc.) • Experience interacting with smart contracts programmatically (calling contracts, signing and sending transactions) (not necessarily writing complex smart contracts) • Solid backend development skills: APIs, async workflows, background jobs, monitoring • Understanding of transaction lifecycle, gas mechanics, and blockchain RPC behavior • Familiarity with DeFi concepts and trading systems • Ability to work independently and take ownership of backend features • Performance-aware, pragmatic engineering mindset ✔️ Nice to Have: • Experience with Hyperliquid or HyperEVM • Background in trading systems, execution engines, or trading bots • Experience with gas optimizations or gasless transactions (EIP-2612, EIP-4337) • Basic understanding of Solidity or experience reading smart contracts • Exposure to non-EVM chains (Solana, Bitcoin, Tron) • Knowledge of Rust • Familiarity with order books, perpetual futures, and liquidity mechanics ✔️ Benefits: • Work on real-world blockchain trading integrations • High-impact backend engineering role • Fully remote environment • Opportunity to grow within a fast-moving Web3 product team ✔️ Contact Information: Telegram: @hr_createit
