We need a Senior Backend Developer to increase team throughput and help us scale without friction. Goal: Faster feature delivery, improved stability and scalability, and proactive contributions. What you'll do: • SEO (indexing, catalogs, search discoverability) • Recommendation systems • Public-facing API (design, build, document) • Integrations with external systems (audio distribution platforms) • Rapid prototyping: ideate → implement → validate Real tasks: • Optimize search ranking and sorting algorithms • Solve A/B testing infrastructure performance challenges • Implement new approaches to content storage and monetization • Work with BASSAB cloud infrastructure • Operate in Kubernetes (dedicated cluster) Must-have requirements: ✅ Initiative — you find and implement improvements yourself, don't wait for tasks. ✅ Product company experience — no agencies or outsourcing. ✅ Russian — fluent (team language). ✅ English — sufficient for international communication. Hard skills: 1. Strong PHP — real-world depth 2. Kubernetes + cloud infrastructure — hands-on 3. Integrations with external systems and APIs Nice to have: • Highload systems • Streaming / media / content products background • Recommendation systems Team processes: • Daily standups • 1week sprints • Annual goals → quarterly OKRs → monthly initiatives → weekly execution • Team-driven ideas, fast experiments, no long approvals Tech stack: PHP (Yii2), Kubernetes (dedicated cluster), BASSAB cloud, internal & external APIs.
